Garage of Blessings

Founded in 2012, Garage of Blessings is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving neighbors throughout Island County by providing tangible support, basic human care, and hope at no cost. Guided by the belief that neighbors helping neighbors creates stronger, healthier communities, we provide a welcoming place where every person is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Our mission is to serve community members in need by providing a welcoming place to receive tangible goods and basic human care at no cost. Through our Free Community Thrift Store, Pantry of Blessings, community donations program, and resource navigation services, we help individuals and families meet essential needs while building stronger, healthier communities.

Every interaction at Garage of Blessings is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and that asking for help should never diminish a person's worth. Whether someone is facing an unexpected crisis, navigating long-term challenges, or simply needs additional support, our volunteers welcome every neighbor with compassion, respect, and hope.

As a 100% volunteer-led organization, Garage of Blessings transforms the generosity of community members into meaningful impact. Donations of goods, financial contributions, volunteer service, and community partnerships come together to ensure that thousands of neighbors each year have access to clothing, household essentials, nutritious food, hygiene products, and connections to additional community resources. Together, we are creating a community where needs are met, lives are changed, and neighbors help neighbors thrive.
